I am Callie, a farmer's daughter. I was born in a small town of 2000 people on a farm with my parents and grandparents.

I am a real sweet & innocent little Christian country girl. I'm down to earth, old fashioned, & simple as well. I love God & Jesus! I am currently a junior in college but I am taking online classes. I don't live on a farm right now (we had to move for money), but I still live in a small town. I know all my neighbors and I say hi to them every day almost. Even when I go on walks and see people I don't know, they wave and say Hi to me like they've known me all my life. (: As soon as I have the opportunity, I'm going to go back to the country life and start my own ranch with my cowboy husband lol (HOPEFULLY anyway).
I love exercising and I LOVE animals. I love going up the road to my neighbor's cattle field and just looking at all the cows and the newborn calves and petting their fuzzy little heads. I also love going to my other neighbor's farm and looking at his sheep and dairy cattle= ADORABLE. They are just the sweetest and most innocent things to me (I'm attracted to innocence haha). 2 minutes from my house is the local fishing pond where everyone goes to fish. (: I also go to church every Tuesday night (on Tuesday nights so it's easier for farmers to make it) in a barn. Almost everyone is in cowboy boots, wrangler jeans, western shirts, big belt buckles, and cowboy hats (even the ladies). The service contains a bluegrass band of a harmonica, two banjos, a stand-up bass, two acoustic guitars, a fiddle, a steel guitar, and a mandolin. Everyone in church opens up their songbooks and sings along to old gospel hymns. The band is beautiful and I love it so much. Only 50 people go to it and everyone knows everyone.
One of my favorite things to do is go to the rodeo and I try to make all the ones that are close to me. I've been fishing (mostly bass) since I was a little girl (I use worms and I bait my own hook of course), run around barefoot (and still do), climbed through many barb wire fences before, and helped my Grandma and Grandpa on their farm milking cows, collecting chicken eggs, and picking veggies out of the garden. I also remember sitting on my Grandpa's lap helping him drive the tractor. (: If you talk to my Grandma, she'll say 'bless your heart' and 'I declare' all in the same sentence. I was raised saying things like 'worsh', 'holler=valley', 'in'nit=isn't it and 'dunin'it=don't it'; words like that. A group of people is 'y'uns' and most of the time we run our words together such as: 'Didja have a good time athat trip yestaday? or Idun care whatcha say or Whydja do that for? haha. City folk beware of my speech
My dream date is to go out on a summer night into an empty field. Have a picnic together while watching the sunset and then laying a blanket down in the bed of his truck and cuddling and looking up at the stars together while the lightnin bugs dance, and the crickets and katydids chirp, and the bullfrogs croak. Ahhh, the country life <3
I also love the outdoors which is my favorite. And I might be a girl, but I love working and I'm not afraid to get dirty.
